Appearing on NHK! Introducing the movement towards local production and consumption!
I guess it all started with crowdfunding on Makuake (^○^)
A place where you can effectively spread the word online about the movement for local production and consumption that is grown in Shinshu and completed entirely within the prefecture!
That's "crowdfunding"
From there, with help from NagaLab, Shimin Shimbun, and many other people, our activities somehow spread and we became the Shinano Mainichi Shimbun!
It's the most widely read newspaper in Nagano Prefecture.
And then I got through to NHK (NHK Nagano Broadcasting Station). That day, like every day, I got a phone call during production.
Woman: "I'm Miyano from NHK." ... What? NHK? Seriously?!
I was asked by phone to do an interview!
Of course! Thank you!
The content of the talk was that he was interested in the " Shinshu Deerskin Ethical Project " and we talked about it for about 30 minutes.
This project will reduce transportation costs within Nagano prefecture and is an ethical and sustainable project that we would love to see!
Later, NHK Nagano Broadcasting Station newscaster Miyano-san came to the workshop. I don't watch much TV at that time, so I didn't know what he was saying.
Miyano is the one who reads the news on the program.
When you actually come to the workshop, the questions you get are, "What is the work like?"
Also, what kind of configuration should we go with?
I was talking about that, but I was a little worried.
Tokunaga: "Eh? Miyano-san, you're a newscaster, right? Do you also write the program and do on-site research?"
Miyano: "That's right."
I'm a bit surprised that I don't know about this or that it's normal!
He usually reads the news and gives weather forecasts on TV, but he also writes the content!?
That's how it felt, Miyano-san's hard work was really apparent and he was a friendly and really nice person (^○^)
And then the day of the shoot...
Miyano-san: "Look (^○^) I wrote this! I thought I'd explain my deerskin project like this."
Tokunaga: "Huh? Huh? You wrote this too?"
Miyano: "Yes! I wrote it."
Oh my goodness, I'm so humbled. I'm so humbled.
We had many meetings and revised the composition as we went along (I'm serious about this lol).
Actually, we had to retake it many times because it was a live recording, and I don't remember how many times we did it from take 5 onwards, but the clock was 10:30 so we did quite a bit (^○^)
When we finally finished, Miyano-san said, "Sorry for stopping my work so much," showing how considerate he was! 😀

July 13, 2022 "Evening Shinshu"
The event started with an explanation from Mr. Miyano! He introduced Groover Leather.

The entire broadcast was about 5 to 6 minutes long and was packed with content!
Of course, we were open for business during the broadcast, so I was in the workshop.
Just when I was wondering if the broadcast was about to end, I got a phone call!
"I just saw it on TV?"
That was quick! Thank you very much🙇♂️I received several more calls after that(^○^)
From the next day, people came to the workshop to say they had seen us on TV, and it made me realise that it was really good that I had been involved in this activity (^-^)
Then a few days later
On Sunday, July 17th, during the three-day weekend, I received a phone call in the evening.
Miyano: "Tokunaga-san, it has been suddenly decided that the second episode will be broadcast!
It's sudden, but we'll start broadcasting now (^○^)"
Tokunaga: "Seriously?! Does that even happen?"
Miyano-san: "It happens sometimes (^○^)"
Seriously?! A miraculous second broadcast has been decided!

I'm grateful! When I update my blog like this, I sometimes think that when I first became independent, I hesitated to even buy coffee from a convenience store.
I worked hard with Harayama during those extremely anxious days, so I'm really glad that I did!
We will continue to think of various things and do our best to hear everyone's "likes"!
